Band of (Single) Brothers

Technology has made it easier for Asian parents to meddle in their kids' love lives. And apparently, it's not just the Chinese. My gorgeous 29-year old Indonesian-Canadian friend Monica has lived in Tokyo, NYC, and London working in IT consulting for a major bank. Her standards for men are high, but obviously not as high as her Dad's.

this kid's dad is my mom's eldest sister's old high school friend...they were chit chatting and saying how the guys son lives in dallas and is still single (32 yrs old or something) and so they were gonna set him up with my cousin in taiwan so she could immigrate to the states b/c thats her dream or something..

There's a common theme in many of these photos. The strategy is to choose a picture with a magnificent scenic background, so that the viewer is so distracted by the beauty of nature that she doesn't notice the poor guy needs his parents' help finding a girlfriend.

The set-up email came with this fantastic photo of Mr. Dreamboat with Alice's potential future mother-in-law. Are those stars in his eyes or glare from his anti-reflective glasses? I dunno why Alice passed this one up. Lasik and an eyebrow wax could go a long way.
